TREE: Transition Research, Evaluation and Engagement, was a proposal submitted for funding within the EU's seventh Framework Programme on Feb 28th 2013. The TREE consortium involved 13 partners from six EU countries.
While the application itself was not sufficiently conservative to be successful in securing funding, the ideas and relationships established during proposal development provided significant impetus towards the establishment of the ECOLISE network of European community-led sustainability and climate change initiatives and central role of Knowledge and Learning in ECOLISE strategy and operations.
